Program Overview

As mentioned in the initial overview, the Douglas County Adult Drug Court has two distinct programming tracks, Track One and Track Two. One of the main differences between the two tracks is that Track One is strictly for first time felony offenders. In Track Two, participants may have multiple felony convictions on their record and if appropriate, be allowed in. In order to gain admission into either track, participants must first enter a guilty 
plea to the charge(s) they are presently facing.

Track One lasts in duration of 12-18 months and Track Two lasts in duration of 18-24 months. At the successful completion of either the Adult Drug Court Tracks One or Two, participant's felony charge(s) will be dismissed by the County Attorney's Office.
