Rewards

Participants who are successful within the Drug Court Program, as demonstrated by consistent program participation and socially acceptable behavior change, to include; completion of substance abuse /mental health treatment and ancillary services; negative drug screens; gainful employment; completion of education requirements; and appropriate Drug Court and office attendance, can receive rewards.

These rewards include, but are not limited to; less frequent visitations with the Drug Court Judge, Drug Court Counselors; a reduction in drug screening; name is read first at Drug Court sessions; receipt of verbal praise and accolades from the Drug Court Judge and Team; and the ultimate reward of having your felony dismissed on your criminal record.

Other program incentives, such as movie passes and food coupons, bus tickets, etc., are also given (when available) to participants as a reward for excellent behavior.
