PHASE
III
Phase III is the
maintenance phase. This phase lasts up to 1-2 years. This phase is
a risk classification probation model. Court overview will occur at
a minimum of once every three months. The YAC team will conduct monthly
case reviews. The case review team will consist of representatives
from the County Attorney’s Office, Douglas County Department
of Corrections, State Probation, Public Defender’s Office, and
Douglas County Drug Court. A Mentoring Coordinator will provide services.
- During this
phase the defendant is reassessed according to Risk/ Needs in order
to set the appropriate level of probation supervision.
